Beautiful Hamptons Inspired Bathroom
When the homeowners described their dream bathroom as being a Hamptons inspired space, our renovators set to work to make their wishes come true. In true Hamptons style, the space features a bright, airy, and sophisticated design with a mix of traditional and modern elements.
The color palette features luxurious classic Hamptons textures in shades of white, gray, blue, and beige, with accents of natural wood and black. A large vanity feature sets the scene with His and Hers free-standing wash basins in pristine white, each with their own silver faucet. Large sliding drawers with natural wood accents are mounted above the floor, enhancing the illusion of openness.
Tiling is a combination of large glossy white tiles and a stunning backdrop of gray-flecked marbled scalloped tiles in the walk-in shower. The walk-in shower offers a sophisticated spa experience with no raised step to walk over. It blends seamlessly into the bathroom with an open design, enhanced by large frameless glass doors. A recessed soap holder provides space for shower essentials and selected decorative ornaments. Silver rails holding plush, luxurious soft fleecy towels are placed strategically near the shower and behind the basins for easy access.
Lighting is a vital part of a Hamptons-style bathroom and encourages the use of natural lighting whenever possible. In this design, a glorious ceiling-to-floor window with louvered glass allows rays of sunlight to stream in. For after-dark, the ambiance is created with hanging pendants, shot through with flecks of gold to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Dominating a corner that would otherwise be ignored, is a luscious green plant in a wicker-weave basket. A small three-legged wooden stool holds a white pillar candle to create a romantic tranquil spa vibe after a busy day.
To increase the impact of the homeowner’s love for Hamptons style, the main bedroom’s en-suite bathroom was renovated in a similar fashion. In this design, a single large midnight blue basin blends perfectly with the blue towels on a black rail. Again, we have a walk-in shower, this time, tiled in beautiful hexagonal tiles in tones of white, gray, and beige. For lighting effects, the room has a large window, ceiling-mounted spotlights, and a hanging pendant that emits a golden glow. The breathtaking addition of the large, round mirrors perfects and elevates the entire look to a whole new level of elegance and grandeur.
This beautiful Hamptons inspired renovation was all about creating an elegant, classic space. Utilizing a neutral palette, including luxurious textures and high-end fixtures, ensured it became an interior design dream.
