Bathroom Overhaul & New Ensuite Constructed
This renovation was a double challenge as the homeowners wanted to modernize an existing main bathroom and create a brand new ensuite for the master bedroom. Our renovators were up for the challenge! Extensive changes were made to the structure of the home including rebuilding the hallway, removing windows, and adding exterior cladding.
The new space is light, airy, and contemporary in soft tones of white and dove grey with natural wood accents. The breathtaking beauty of the space is accentuated by the carefully selected large porcelain tiles that adorn the floor, walls, and shower. Each tile resonates with the other in perfect harmony, creating a seamless and tranquil environment that instantly transports you to a place of serenity. The stunning tiles emphasize the spaciousness of the area, elevating it to new heights of elegance and sophistication. To add a unique element to the design, the tiles on the shower floor are placed in an eye-catching diamond shape.
Jet black fittings create a wonderful contrast in the form of taps, towel rails, and edging on the full-height glass shower doors. A sense of modern luxury and an intimate home-spa sensation is created by the large, glossy white back-to-wall bath that nestles snugly against the back wall. Its smooth curves invite you to indulge in an evening of bubble-bath relaxation as the stress of the day melts away. A tiled niche is placed above the bath to keep items organized and hold romantic candles.
Light dominates this space as sunlight enters via the large windows and is reflected by the strategically-placed round mirrors.
The vanity features natural wood panels on dual slide-out drawers, ideal for storing linen, towels, and bathroom necessities. A stylish stand-alone basin on the white countertop exudes a sense of timeless elegance and sophistication, instantly elevating the bathroom to a new level of luxury. The smooth lines of the basin create a striking statement piece that will never go out of fashion.
The master bedroom was also revamped to make space for the ensuite, which included the removal of an old fireplace and the creation of a walk-in-robe. In harmonious style, the new ensuite also sports a full-height shower, black fittings, and matching tiles. The mirror cabinet was recessed within the wall for a sleek contemporary look while also adding functional storage space.
The homeowners were delighted with the new design of the main bathroom and thrilled with the privacy and convenience of the master bedroom ensuite.
